Mandap hire in Stratford

Transport that works for guests

Stratford is a major transport hub, with Underground, Overground, Elizabeth line, DLR and national rail services, so guests can reach it from many directions without a car. That suits weddings with family travelling from across London and beyond. It also means the area is busy, so ask your venue about the best time and route for the delivery. If the venue provides a technical contact, send us their details so we can coordinate directly.

Modern hotels and clean lines

Newer hotels and event spaces here often have tall ceilings, neutral walls and flexible layouts. A mandap with floral or white styling can sit beautifully in these rooms, while a carved design gives a strong cultural focal point. Ask for ceiling heights and for the venue's rules on stages, fire and fixings before you choose. Remember that glossy flooring may need protection under a platform, so ask what the venue requires.

Older halls nearby

Beyond the redeveloped centre, Stratford and the surrounding streets have older halls and community buildings with their own character. These rooms may have lower ceilings and fixed features. Take measurements and photographs, and compare them against the designs here. A smaller, well-proportioned mandap often suits these rooms better than a very tall one. Photos of both the room and any outdoor space nearby help us suggest the best photograph locations too.

Planning around events

Large events in the area can affect traffic, crowds and delivery access, especially on busy days. Check the local calendar and the venue's advice when you fix your date, and build in extra time for the load-in. Tell us the access window and we will schedule the installation to finish before your guests arrive. Ask for the venue's event calendar, because some neighbouring events may affect your guests' travel.

Getting a mandap to your venue

Stratford can be busy, with controlled access to some sites and limited stopping. Ask your venue for its loading bay details, timed slots and lift sizes, and plan the delivery well before guests arrive. Stratford is outside the Congestion Charge zone, but ULEZ applies across London, and charges can change, so check current rules.
